Dr. Lyell has received specialized training in a technique called Graston, which is a type of IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization). This technique is used to undo years of damage to soft tissue such as muscles, ligaments and tendons. Using a metal tool, Dr. Lyell is able to find and "break down" adhesions and scar tissue in muscles in order to restore tissue sliding surfaces, strength, and rapidly return his patients to their regular activities. Only a handful of providers in the nation have this specialized training and Dr. Lyell is bringing this to his patients in Jacksonville and the surrounding communities.
